Bio

Dr. Sadia Riaz is a Reader in Information Systems, Innovation and Design, specialising in human–computer interaction (HCI), digital transformation, and learning models. Her work bridges technology and education, shaping future-ready curricula that align with the needs of Generation Z and beyond.

As Programme Director of the BBA, she leads on programme strategy, design, and delivery, embedding AI-driven tools, interactive modules, and innovative pedagogies to strengthen student engagement, academic success, and employability. She also oversees faculty recruitment and professional development, ensuring teaching excellence across the School.

Sadia’s research portfolio includes AI risk assessment and resilience, cloud computing challenges, Big Data analytical frameworks, and generative AI in higher education. Her applied scholarship informs institutional policy and contributes to national debates on the role of emerging technologies in business and education.

With more than a decade of senior experience as a policy advocate and academic leader, including previous roles at SP Jain Global Dubai, Dr. Riaz brings a strategic, global perspective to higher education administration. Her work is anchored in creating future-focused, innovation-driven learning environments that prepare graduates to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world.
